National Family Literacy Month: November 2024
Ways to celebrate National Family Literacy Month:
    1. Pull out your favorite childhood book(s) and read them to your children....
    2. Create a family reading schedule.
    3. Take a family trip to a local library.
    4. Create an in-home library with your child鈥檚 favorite books.
    5. Find books that have been made into movies. Read the book, then watch the movie as a family.
Strong family engagement is central to promoting children鈥檚 literacy and academic achievement in preschool, elementary school, and beyond.
