The school board meeting scheduled for tonight January 20th has been rescheduled to Monday, January 27th, 2025, at 6 pm.

The basketball games vs Woodsboro for tonight are moved to this Thursday. JV boys and Varsity girls start at 4:30 pm followed by Varsity boys at 5:30 pm.

The forecast of freezing rain/wind/snow showers necessitates the closing of Skidmore-Tynan ISD schools on TUESDAY, January 21st. While we are prepared for cold weather, the safety and security of our students and staff during icy road conditions dictates an abundance of caution. Normal school operating hours are in place for Monday, January 20th and we will be off for the livestock show Wednesday through Friday. Normal school hours on Monday.

We are actively monitoring weather conditions for next week to ensure the safety of our students, parents and staff. Ball games scheduled for Tuesday have been moved to Monday or cancelled. Varsity Girls start at 4:30; Boys at 5:30 vs Woodsboro. JV Boys will compete in the auxillary (back) gym at 4:30; JV Girls at 5:30 vs Premont in the auxillary (back) gym. There will be NO JH games next week and the Tuesday JV game vs Agua Dulce is cancelled.
Please ensure that students dress warmly. Should there be any changes to our school schedule due to weather, we will notify parents via email, text, and Facebook.

Reminder to HS Lady Cats playing softball-- there is a parent meeting tonight at 530pm in the cafeteria to go over information for the 2025 season!
